Service Updates

Changes to Service 130 from 24th November 2025Date: 24th November 2025

From 24th November 2025 Service 130 will be revised to operate between Macclesfield, Bus Station, Macclesfield Hospital and Wythenshawe Interchange and will no longer run through to Manchester Airport following a decline in patronage.

Alternative links to Manchester Airport are available at Wythenshawe on local bus and tram services.

Sunday buses continue to be operated by High Peak Buses running between Macclesfield Bus Station and Handforth Dean. D&G Bus Day/Week and Season Tickets are valid on these journeys.

Also, from 24th November 2025 brand-new bus service 150 will be introduced running up to every hour during the daytime Monday to Friday between Macclesfield Bus Station, Macclesfield Railway Station, Chester Road and Alderley Park. Some early morning and later afternoon journeys run to/from Alderley Edge and Wilmslow Railway Station.

Service 130 is supported by Cheshire East Council and Service 150 is supported by Cheshire East Council and UK Government.
